UPDATE: Fatal collision, Tavistock
Police are appealing for motorists who may have dashcam footage of a fatal collision in Tavistock to come forward.
An 80-year-old man from Callington died following the incident which occurred at around 3.10pm on Saturday 18 January on Plymouth Road.
Officers would particularly like to speak to the man who identified himself as a medic and assisted the casualty.
A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of the collision.

Man fatally injured
A man has died following a collision which happened on Saturday 18 January at around 3.10pm in Tavistock.
Police were informed by the Ambulance service of the collision involving a white Fiat 500 and a pedestrian on Plymouth Road, Tavistock.
The pedestrian, an 80-year-old man from the Callington area, was flown to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance with life threatening injuries. The man passed away this morning, Wednesday 22 January.
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team attended along with Response officers from Tavistock, a Forensic Collision Investigator and Scene of Crime Officer.
A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of this collision.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen this collision or have dash camera footage to contact 101 quoting Log 538 18/01/2020.
