Witnesses sought

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following reports of an attempted assault in Porthleven.

The incident was reported to have happened at around 4.30pm on Thursday 7 June on Beacon Road heading towards Rinsey.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was followed by an unknown offender on a pushbike who attempted to assault her.

The offender is believed to be a teenage male and is described as wearing a black motorbike helmet and a snood covering his face. He is also described as wearing dark camo trousers and had dark eyebrows.

Officers are also investigating a possible link between this offence and an exposure in the area involving a young male offender who was walking a dog, thought to be a Collie. 

The offender was described as a white male, aged between 16 and 18-years-old, around 5ft 8 inch tall and of slim build. He was thought to have blonde hair and was wearing a black tracksuit with a black hooded top.

Anyone who witnessed either of the incidents or has any information is asked to contact police on or call 101 quoting CR/050166/18.
