Police appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage
Two people have been arrested and are helping police with their enquiries following a hit and run incident in Torquay on Friday night (4 October).
Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the Paignton and Torquay areas between 9.40pm and 11pm on Friday 4 October, who may have witnessed a silvery/blue Vauxhall Tigra being driven around these times, to contact police.

Police appealing for witnesses
Police have launched an investigation following a hit and run in South Devon overnight.
Police were called just before 11pm on Friday 4 October by the ambulance with reports that there had been a serious collision on Lymington Road, Torquay.
The car was a blue coloured Vauxhall Tigra coupe which had been involved in a collision with four pedestrians, all 18-years-old and who were on the pavement; the car then collided with a parked car and the driver fled on foot.
Alliance armed response and roads policing officers attended the scene together with scenes of crime and a forensic collision investigator.
Dog and helicopter resources assisted at the scene but the driver was not located and is still outstanding at this time.
One man is in a critical condition having sustained life-threatening head injuries; a second man has sustained serious leg and hip injuries; both remain in Derriford Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses and wish to hear from anyone who may have any CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist.
