Can you help trace stolen vehicle with trailer?

Police are currently investigating reports of a theft of a motor vehicle which happened on Tuesday 24 July in Liskeard.

The incident happened at approximately 11.45am at the Goldenbank Nursery & Garden Centre on Plymouth Road.

A man had parked his car and trailer on the pavement outside the garden centre entrance. The vehicle was left unattended whilst the man went around the corner to put a sign up. The man quickly returned to his vehicle after hearing members of the public shout that his vehicle was being stolen.

The man returned to where he had parked his vehicle to find that it had gone.

Inside the trailer was a Whacker plate and inside the vehicle there were a mix of tools and power tools.

The vehicle is a Silver Mitsubishi Shogun with registration VRM YR54 BFE towing a silver IFOR Williams tipping trailer 10ftX6ft, serial number 725745.

The following description was given of the suspect: a man in his mid-twenties, of a large build, with jet black greasy hair, a stubbly beard wearing a green tee-shirt with a large pot belly.

Anyone who has any information on the incident or anyone who has since seen this vehicle and trailer is asked to contact the investigating officer, PC Dove, quoting crime reference CR/066868/18.
