Police appeal for information following incident in Laira Bridge Road

Police have appealed for witnesses over a public order offence in Plymouth. 

The incident happened near to a bus stop in Laira Bridge Road between 7.10am and 7.40am on Friday 31 May.

Officers are investigating reports that a man pushing a shopping trolley made threats towards a woman.

The suspect is described as being a white male, aged in his early- to mid-20s and was wearing a grey tracksuit jumper/hoody.

The victim, who is aged in her late teens, suffered no physical harm but was left shaken by the incident. 

Police understand that a female witness intervened, helped the victim and encouraged the suspect to go away. Officers would like to thank this female and have encouraged her, and any other witnesses, to come forward.

The bus stop near to where the incident took place is located just past the blue metal walkway bridge and primary school in Laira Bridge Road.
