Update: Man charged in connection with St Ives assaults

Will appear at Truro Magistrates Court

Police have charged a man in connection to two incidents in St Ives in August and September.

On Saturday 21 December, 37-year-old Clinton Ferreira, from St Ives was charged with the following:

-          Choke / suffocate / strangle to render unconscious / incapable of resistance with intent to commit indictable offence

-          Choke / suffocate / strangle to render unconscious / incapable of resistance with intent to commit indictable offence with intent to rape

-          Assault a female 13 and over by penetration with part of body

-          Attempt to rape a woman 16 or over

-          False imprisonment

-          Make indecent images of children

He will appear at Truro Magistrates Court on Monday 23 December.
