Victim, 19, suffered a serious head injury

Police have appealed for information following an assault in Lynton in the early hours of Sunday 25 August. 

Officers are investigating an incident in the Cross Street car park in which a 19-year-old man suffered a serious head injury from an alleged assault that knocked him to the ground. He required hospital treatment.

The incident took place between 1.30am and 2.30am. Police believe a number of people were present at the time of the assault and would like to hear from them.
