Can you identify the driver responsible?

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in North Devon that resulted in a car being forced from the road.

At around 7.20pm on Wednesday 15 November, a grey Seat Ibiza containing to women was travelling on the A361 towards Barnstaple, in close proximity to the West Buckland junction.

An unknown car coming in the opposite direction has overtaken a lorry forcing the Seat Ibiza off the road, and rolling into the trees.

Luckily both the passenger and the driver sustained only minor injuries, but the car was extensively damaged. 

Police would like to identify both the vehicle and driver of the lorry and the car involved in this incident.

Anyone with any information, or who was driving in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage that could help police identify the lorry driver, is asked to email 101@dc.police.uk quoting police log 815 for 15 November.
