Witness appeal

Police are currently investigating a public order offence of affray which happened at Springhill in Pennycross, Plymouth.

PC Lee Sheldon said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed several men fighting with pieces of wood in the street at around 2pm on Wednesday 7 August.

One man sustained an injury to his chest as a result of the incident, which was not believed to be serious.

 “Two men, both aged 27 and from Plymouth, were arrested on suspicion of affray and have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

“House to house enquiries been completed in the area, however, there may have been passers-by on foot or in vehicles who can help us.”
