Police appeal after motorist drives at pedestrians

Police in Plymouth are appealing for information after a car reportedly deliberately drove at a couple walking along a road at speed, several times.

The incident occurred on Ham Drive at around 3.50pm yesterday, Sunday 28 March.

A man and a woman were reportedly driven at three times by a black VW Polo, driven by a man, with a female passenger. The car turned around to drive back towards the couple, narrowly missing the man.

Anyone who witnessed anything which could assist police enquiries, or anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage which may have picked up the car’s registration number, is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at and quote crime reference CR/022052/21.
