Updated: road traffic collision, Redruth


Appeal for information

Police were called to reports of the road traffic collision involving a silver Chrysler car and a motorbike on Wilson Way, Pool, near Redruth at around 5.30pm, on Sunday 18 July.

The male rider of the motorbike sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene but has since come forward, following a police appeal.

The road was closed in both directions for a time whilst the scene was examined.

Officers would like to thank the public for their patience and assistance.
