Appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following an assault on Glen Road, Plympton.

Investigating officer, PC Paul Carswell said:  ‘At around 3.30pm on Tuesday 6 March, we responded to reports of a road rage incident which developed into an assault.

“A car and a van pulled over and a verbal argument began between the occupants. This then developed into a physical assault committed by the two occupants of the van.

“The victim, a 39-year-old man, sustained bruising as a result of the incident.

“We believe that witnesses may have recorded the incident on mobile phones.

“This incident took place near a school, at the end of the day, so I’m hopeful that someone witnessed the incident and may have information that could help the investigation.”
