Two people arrested

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault and public order offences in Plymouth on Thursday 3 January.

Police received reports just after 9pm of a large scale disorder in New George Street, near Frankfurt Gate. 

Officers attended and dispersed the group. Two people were arrested and taken into police custody. A 17-year-old boy was reported to have been assaulted and was later taken to hospital.

Two 17-year-old boys from Plymouth were arrested on suspicion of affray and assault. They were both released on police bail until Thursday 31 January.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/001095/19.
