Fatal Collision Bratton Clovelly

Accident

17-year-old boy named

George Ogborne, aged 17, died when the vehicle he was travelling in was involved in a collision on a minor road at Bratton Clovelly on Sunday 15 April 2018.

Police were informed at around 1.40am by paramedics of the incident near Okehampton.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, Mr Ogborne, sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

His next of kin are aware and formal identification has taken place.

A full investigation of the scene was completed and enquiries are continuing to determine the cause of this collision.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses to contact them via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting log number 95 of 15/04/2018.
