Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Bovey Tracey

A man has been named

A man has been named following a fatal collision in Bovey Tracey.

Emergency services were called at 2.26am on Saturday 6 October to reports of a collision involving a Dacia car and a pedestrian.

The car, which was being driven by a 47-year-old man, was in a collision with a pedestrian on the A382, Newton Road, Bovey Tracey.

Craig Harris, aged 37, who was from Scotland, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin are being supported by a Family Liaison Officer.

Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team are investigating the collision and would ask that anyone with information contact the Police on 101 quoting the log number 147 of 6th October 2018.
