More than £25,000 worth of motorcycles stolen

Police are seeking information following a burglary at a bike dealership in St. Blazey.

Between 2am and 3am today (Wednesday 12 July) a ram raid and burglary occurred at St Blazey MX on Tywardreath highway, St Blazey.

Detective Constable David Squire, from St Austell station, said: “The circumstances are that a white box panel van has driven into the door and window of St Blazey MX on Tywardreath highway causing significant damage to the building.

“We believe the suspects have then entered the building and stolen six motorcycles which are valued at over £25,000 in total. They placed them in the rear of the van before driving off towards Lostwithiel.

“We are appealing to the public for information. Anyone who has any information about this crime which can help with our enquiries, or who may know of the whereabouts of these bikes, is asked to call 101, quoting log number 73 of 12 July.”
