Police appeal over incident on Derry’s Cross roundabout

Police investigating a serious assault in Plymouth have appealed for information. 

The incident occurred on the Derry’s Cross roundabout, by the Theatre Royal billboards, at around 2.50am on Sunday 2 June. 

A man in his 40s was punched in the face, suffering a suspected fractured eye socket. He was treated at Derriford Hospital. 

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his early 20s, tall, of slim build and wearing a red shirt. 

Witnesses, or anyone with information on the assault, is urged to call police on 101, or email, quoting crime reference number CR/048725/19.
