Police appeal for witnesses

Police responded to reports of a disorder at Landreath Place, St Blazey, at 5.30pm on 20/4/2019.  It was reported that a male with a large knife was damaging a car and assaulting a male.  Shortly after police arrival, a black Mercedes made off from the police on the A390 at St Blazey.  This vehicle was later seen and stopped on the A391 Bugle by armed officers, however the offender has not yet been located and arrested.  The victim in this case has minor injuries, however his vehicle is also damaged.  Armed police conducted a number of address checks and continue to look for the offender.  The offender has not yet been named by the police for operational reasons and the enquiry continues.  Any witnesses or anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the offender should call 101, quoting log 800 200419.
