Police incident on A38, Plymouth

Appeal for witnesses

Police were called shortly before 7am on 8 October to the A38 between Marsh Mills and Leigham following reports of a potential collision involving a person and a Ford Focus.

A 21-year-old man was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The road was closed for around eight hours whilst emergency services attended the scene to investigate the incident.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area around that time and may have relevant dash cam footage.

Anyone with any information which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 153 of 8 October.
