Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for information after a man was hit by a car after the driver reportedly deliberately drove at him.

The incident occurred near the junction of Lewis Road and Tregonissey Road, St Austell, at 2pm on Sunday 26 July and a man sustained minor injuries.

Following a road traffic collision, when attempting to exchange details with the other driver, the victim was driven at by the suspect, causing him to be struck onto the bonnet and fall to the ground.

Witnesses, or anyone with any information, is asked to call police on 101, or email, quoting crime reference number CR/060958/20.
