Incident happened in layby after minor RTC

Police investigating reports of a road rage assault in Plymouth have appealed for information.

The incident took place in a layby off Forder Valley Road on the B3413, near to the Liegham roundabout, between 5.50pm and 6pm on Thursday 7 November.

Occupants of two vehicles had pulled into the layby following a minor road traffic collision before an argument ensued between two men.  

The victim, aged in his 40s, alleges that he was punched in the face. He suffered a facial injury.

Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward.
