Appeal for witnesses

Police are investigating reports of an assault in Plymouth

Emergency services were called to the slip road by Manadon Roundabout near the A38 on Wednesday 15 May following reports of an assault which has taken place between 5.30pm and 6pm.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was driving a white Citroen van, when he stopped at traffic lights on the slip road.

A blue motorbike was reported to have pulled up alongside the van and the rider then punched the front driver’s window, causing it to smash. The rider then punched the victim in the face causing visible injury before leaving the area.

Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, as well as anyone with dash-cam footage, to get in touch.
