Appeal

Trio set upon man and steal his shopping

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was pushed up against a wall and had his groceries stolen from him by two men and a woman in Redruth.

The incident occurred at around 9.15pm on Monday 9 November in the lane between Fore Street and Cross Street.

When the group passed the man on the pathway, the female asked for the man’s money and when he refused one of the male suspects pushed him up against the wall. The female subsequently stole items out of the victim’s shopping bag.

The female suspect is described as white, 5’5” in height, in her late 20s or early 30s, with dark brown hair. She was wearing a dark coloured suede coat.

One of the male suspects is described as white, 6’3” in height and of slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured coat with a white stripe along the sleeves.  

The other male suspect is described as white, 5’8” in height and of stocky build. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top. Both males were wearing surgical masks.
