Witness appeal

Police are currently investigating an alleged assault in St Blazey in Par on Saturday 28 July at around 9.30pm.

The incident happened at Middleway where the victim, a man in his 30s, was seriously assaulted.

DC Sharon Reid said: “We believe there may be some passing members of public who are yet to come forward.

“We also believe a white Ford Escort van and a Land Rover may have stopped at the scene and assisted the victim, and are keen to speak with the driver/occupants of those vehicles.

“A 29-year-old man from Par was arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been released on police bail until 29th August 2018.”
