Serious injury collision, Witheridge near Tiverton


One person sustained serious injuries

At 00:09am today, Thursday 19 November, Police were notified of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on an unclassified road at Millbarn Cross, Witheridge, near Tiverton.

The collision involved a blue Volkswagen Polo and a blue Isuzu Trooper. As a result of the collision the front seat passenger in the Volkswagen received serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment, where he remains at this time. 

Officers from the Alliance’s Armed Response and Roads Policing Teams attended the scene.

A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of this collision.

Police thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.  Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision to contact 101 quoting Log 13 of 19 November 2020.
