Paignton collision now fatal investigation

Man died from his injuries

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Paignton on Monday 2 August, are appealing for witnesses to come forward, after a man died of the injuries he sustained.

Police received reports of a collision involving a silver Mazda MX-5 and a silver Toyota Auris on the A385 Totnes Road, Collaton St Mary, Paignton, at around 10pm.

The driver of the Mazda, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital but died of his injuries on Wednesday 4 August.

Local officers, as well as officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team, attended the scene and the road was closed for several hours.
