Police appeal for information after passenger suffers serious injuries

At around 6.45pm on Sunday 15 September, police were notified of a single-vehicle incident at Tremar near liskeard.

A passenger from a VW Golf travelling through this area has sustained serious life-changing injuries.

It is unclear at this time how the passenger, a male aged in his 30s, came to receive these injuries. He is currently at Derriford Hospital undergoing treatment for a serious head injury.

Officers from the Alliance’s Roads Policing Team based in Devon and Cornwall attended the scene.

A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of this incident.

Police thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene. 

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision
