Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Bank Street, Newquay, on Saturday 27 March.

The incident took place at around 3.40pm, when the male was assaulted by a man and a woman, and sustained a cut to his head.

Police are appealing to the public for witnesses who may have seen the incident take place or who may have phone footage of it.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Newquay Police via 101 or email quoting reference CR/023901/21.

Police would also like to thank the members so public who assisted.
