Fatal incident on the A30, near Launceston

Witnesses sought

Shortly before 0520hrs, on Friday 14th August 2020, a fatal incident occurred on the A30 eastbound carriageway at Launceston, below Hurdon Overbridge, just prior to the off slip leading to the A388.

Tragically, as a result of the incident, a male pedestrian was recognised as deceased at the scene.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team, along with other specialist colleagues, undertook a full forensic examination of the scene.

Any witnesses to the incident, particularly anyone with Dash Cam footage, are asked to contact the Police on 101, quoting Log number 0142 14/08/20.
