Serious collision at Scorrier, Redruth

Appeal for witnesses

 

Police and ambulance were called to the scene of a collision on the B3298 Tolgullow, near Scorrier, Redruth, on Easter Sunday 4 April, at around 1.20pm.

Four vehicles were involved indirectly with two vehicles directly impacting into each other. The two damaged vehicles remained at the scene with the driver of one of them being taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, and has not already spoken with police, to contact them by emailing 101@dc.police.uk or by phoning 101 or via the Devon and Cornwall Police internet site, and quote log 0438 of 04/04/21. The officers also asked that the drivers of the two vehicles that were present at the time, but did not remain, to also make contact.

Once a full examination of the scene was conducted the road was re-opened. Police would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
