Accident

Took place on Tresavern Hill

A man has died following a collision in Cornwall.

Police were called just after 3pm on Tuesday 6 November following reports of a Ford Fiesta having left the road on Tresavern hill, Stithians.

The car came to a stop in a hedge and the sole occupant, an 82-year-old man from Redruth was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Next of kin have been made aware, but formal identification has yet to have taken place.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Police on 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 532 for the 6th November.
