Witnesses sought

Witnesses are sought following a head-on collision on Station Road in Plymouth which has left a woman with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police were notified at approximately 4.30pm on Saturday 9 September to a collision between a grey Ford Focus and a white Ford Transit.

The Focus was travelling in the Tamerton Foliot direction when it collided with the Transit which had been travelling in the opposite direction. This resulted in passengers from both vehicles being injured.

One of the passengers, a 60-year-old woman, sustained potentially life-threatening and life-changing injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses to this incident and ask anyone with information to contact them via or by calling 101 quoting incident number 0606 09/09/17.
