Collision on the A30 near Honiton

Appeal for witnesses

Police investigating a road traffic collision at the junction of the A30 and James Lane, near Honiton soon after 8am, on Tuesday 11 May, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A motorbike rider went on to a grass verge and collided with a small wall near a commercial garage.

The rider, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, but was later transferred to Bristol ITU.
