Serious collision, Redruth


Man in critical condition

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision near Fourlanes last night [12 Sept].

The incident happened at around 10.20pm on Andrews Terrace, near Fourlanes, Redruth.

A Seat was travelling in the direction of Fourlanes when it was in collision with a male pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, sustained injuries to his legs body and head. He was taken to Derriford hospital by Air Ambulance where he remains in a critical condition. His next of kin are aware.

The road was closed for over 4 hours whilst emergency services attended the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact police on or call 101 quoting log 0959 12 Sept.
