Teenage girl set upon by four men

Police are appealing for witnesses of the assault of a 17-year-old girl by four men on Plymouth Hoe, yesterday evening, Monday 5 October.

The attack occurred at around 8.15pm near to the war memorial during which the young woman was grabbed and stepped on. The men then ran off.

It is believed that, during the struggle, one of suspects was bitten on his hand and may have an injury as a result.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses and would particularly like to speak to a man who intervened at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the offenders which could assist police enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at quoting CR/084039/20.
