Burglary in Newton Abbot

Social club burgled

Police are investigating a burglary which happened at a Social Club on Marsh Road in Newton Abbot in the early hours of Sunday morning, 8th July.

The burglary is believed to have occurred between 1am and 7am and the alarm to the premises was believed to have been sounding for a prolonged period of time.

Unknown offenders entered the building and took around £1000 cash and broke into a fruit machine.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have information or may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time.
