Man named following fatal collision

A 28-year-old man has died following a collision on the B3279 on Carpalla Road in Foxhole at around 8.20pm last night, Tuesday 29 October.

Police were notified of the incident which involved two vehicles; a Mitsibushi Lancia and a Ford Transit. 

Both Ambulance Services and Fire and Rescue services attended the scene.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, Nathan Curtis, who lived in the Roche area, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene despite efforts made by emergency services. His family have been informed.

The transit driver, 43-year-old local woman, sustained minor injuries and was conveyed by South Western Ambulance Service to Treliske Hospital where further medical intervention was sought. 

Officers from the Bodmin Serious Collision Investigations Unit are appealing for witnesses to come forward quoting log number 745 of 29/10/19. 

Police would like to thank members of the public for their patience during the scene closure.
