Road Traffic Collision

Appeal for witnesses

At around 9.25pm on Thursday 8 July 2021 Police were notified of a Road Traffic Collision on the B3214 Alexandra Road, Mutley Plymouth.

The collision consisted of a car and a male pedestrian pushing a pedal cycle. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries as a result.

Medical treatment was administered soon after the incident by a number of persons including members of the public and emergency service personnel.

The pedestrian was conveyed to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth by ambulance with multiple serious injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision and especially any drivers with dash cam footage are asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 1061 of the 8 July 2021.

Police would like to thank the public for their support and patience whilst officers had the road closed.
