Appeal after Plympton collision

Motorcyclist seriously injured

Police are appealing for witnesses to a single-vehicle collision in Plympton which left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

Officers were called around 3.40pm on Saturday 28 August to a collision involving a green Kawasaki motorcycle on the B3417 Plympton to Lee Moor road, near Bude Farm.

The rider, a man in his 20s from Plympton, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team and response officers attended the scene. The road was closed for five-and-a-half hours while an investigation of the scene took place.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and would like to hear from anyone who may have relevant dash cam footage.
