Serious injury collision - Indian Queens

The motorcycle rider remains in a critical condition in Derriford Hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the collision, or anyone with dashcam footage of either vehicle prior to it, to come forward.

Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries

At approximately 8.50pm on Saturday 16 May, police were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A392 at Indian Queens, between Halloon roundabout and Newquay.

A black Yamaha FZS 600 and a white Ford Transit custom collided at the location. As a result of the collision, the 55-year-old male rider of the motorcycle, from the Newquay area, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 27-year-old male driver of the van, from the Merthyr Tydfil area, and the 22-year-old male passenger, from the Newport area, suffered minor injuries.

Local officers, as well as those from the Roads Policing Team, attended the scene.

Police are urging witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident, to call 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 807 of 16/05/20.
