Appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of an assault in Liskeard.

The incident was reported to have happened at 9pm on Saturday 9 February by the Cattlemarket Car Park.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was approached by a man wearing a balaclava. She was punched to the face causing a black eye.

The offender is described a white male, around 6ft tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black hoody, black tracksuit and a black balaclava.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/012394/19.
