The Alliance Operations Department have provided the information for questions 2, 3, 5 and 6
1. For the period from 1 July 2021 to 1 July 2022, how many reports were received of an owner or person in charge allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in any place in England and Wales, injuring any person or assistance dog?
Between July 1st 2021 to June 30th 2022, there was 881 reported offences of dogs being dangerously out of control.
2. For the period from 1 July 2021 to 1 July 2022, how many dogs have been detained under the Dangerous Dogs Act?
57 dogs seized
3. For the period from 1 July 2021 to 1 July 2022, how many dogs have been destroyed under the Dangerous Dogs Act?
19 dogs were put to sleep.
4. For the period from 1 July 2022 to 1 July 2023, how many reports were received of an owner or person in charge allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in any place in England and Wales, injuring any person or assistance dog?
Between July 1st 2022 to June 30th 2023, there was 811 reported offences of dogs being dangerously out of control.
5. For the period from 1 July 2022 to 1 July 2023, how many dogs have been detained under the Dangerous Dogs Act?
76 dogs seized
