The Alliance Operations Department have provided the following information.
We cannot provide ‘Reason’ as this will involve excessive investigation of all 70 cases.
‘Destroyed’ in a very broad term. Numbers below relate to dogs that were ‘Put to sleep’ by the Force, many of which will be at the owner’s request
1. Please could you provide the number of dogs destroyed by the force from 1 September 2020 to 1 September 2023?
2. Could this data be broken down by a) year, b) reason that the dog was destroyed, c) what breed the dogs were.
