Data Limitations:    

It is important to note that an individual may be attached to more than one offence within the same financial year. – For the purposes of this request, each suspect/individual has been counted only once per financial year. 

It is also important to note that a single crime may have multiple suspects/offenders attached. – This means figures on the number of suspects/offenders may differ from the number of crimes.                                                            

The first table shows the number of recorded Domestic Abuse offences, per financial year.

The second table shows the number of offences from the first table, broken down by the suspect/offender gender.
