I am requesting to ask how much money has been spent in the last five years on supporting police officers and staff with access to further education? so subsidised education, university fees, but not how much time has been spent on it.

The Learning & Development Department have provided the following information.

2017: £23,136

2018: £25,964

2019: £15,201

2020: £23,053

2021: £20,320

2022: £21,539

2023: To date £10,700

Please note: all Police Constables are placed through a Degree entry route upon joining.
