The Serious and Organised Crime Department have provided the following information.
Have you got a specific policy in place that allows officers to use Slavery and Trafficking Risk Orders under the 2015 Modern Slavery Act?
We do not have a specific policy, there is no restriction on who can apply for an STRO, officers from any team/department can apply.
Are there specific forms that you have created that allow officers to navigate the process?
Devon & Cornwall Police use national guidance created by the Home Office and NPCC Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime Team. We have not created any further guidance.
