Data Caveats/Limitations:

Before April 2022, Burglary is not divided into sub categories, so it is not possible to identify domestic burglaries prior to this date*.

1) How many incidents of domestic burglary have been reported to your force in the past three calendar years: 2020, 2021 and 2023
2) Please can you also provide a breakdown of how many of these reports led to a police officer visiting the scene of the incident, also broken down by calendar year.

The number of incidents with a secondary opening or closing class of domestic burglary that have been reported to Devon and Cornwall police between 01/04/22 and 31/12 23* Data broken down by calendar year and attendance.
