Joiners and leavers

The HR Resourcing Department have provided the following information. 

Can you please give me the numbers of police officers in the force. Showing joiners and leavers.

Please can you provide me with the figures from December 22 to January 24.

Headcount of Officers as of 31/01/2024, excluding those on career break/external secondment = 3700

 

Between December 2022 and January 2024:

Joiners = 447

Leavers = 288

Could you also include the numbers of officers eligible to retire at both 25+ years over the next 5 years.

2024: 340

2025: 112

2026: 131

2027: 164

2028: 166
