Long term sick leave

I would like to request the data on the amount of staff employed by the force which are currently on long term sick leave.

If possible, a breakdown of how many of these staff are frontline police officers would be ideal.

The HR Resourcing Department have provided the following information.

As of 08/12/2023, D&C Police currently have a total of 153 individuals who are currently on Long Term Sick. This is made up of 98 Officers and 55 Staff.

Of the 98 Officers, 61 are in positions categorised as Operational and are therefore considered as being frontline Officers.

This data is taken from a snapshot as at 08/12/2023 as it was recorded on the system at that time.
