Sex offenders removed from register

Could you tell me how many of those individuals who applied to have their indefinite notification requirements revoked were successful in those applications? as below

2. how many individuals applied to have those indefinite notification requirements revoked ( ie to be “removed from the sex offenders register"?)

2019 - 17
2020 - 12
2021 - 29
2022 - 18
2023 – 5

The Public Protection Unit have provided the following information.

Please note that individual applications would have overlapped a calendar year. The figure below is the total number of registered sex offenders granted removal in that calendar year. Some will have applied that year and some will have applied the previous year. For example, from the below in 2021 29 applications were made but 30 were granted as some of these would have been applicants from 2020.
